Life Updates

A lot has changed since I last wrote here. I worked a few corporate contracts that took up a lot of my time, I dated and got hurt, and then fell in love (with a boy and his dog).

Now a part of my own little family, I traveled, started writing my novel, got laid-off, and started over once again. I moved, not far, but into a bigger space with more light, laughter, and freshly baked banana bread.

But this time, I’m not alone.

Having a supportive partner makes a world of difference. It’s what I’ve dreamed of for as long as I can remember- to be fully known and loved anyway.

He knows all of my quirks, my passions, my joys, my sorrows, my mistakes. And he’s on my team. And I’m on his.

What is life without the people who know you best?

I’m happy to be back in this space, with all the freedom and possibilities that come with starting over. I can’t wait to share my work, especially my novel. It’s a historical fiction romantasy, with time travel, Native American curses, set at my own alma mater- William & Mary.

Talk again soon! I promise it won’t be a year before we chat again.

My partner, Alex and I in Cancun.
